This is Course 11 of the Program “Establishing a Data Management Function.”

 

This course is an advanced training course for data management professionals. This course has several objectives:

  • Share knowledge and assist in developing practical skills to design a system to measure data management (DM) performance
  • Explain the approach to designing key performance indicators (KPIs) at various organizational levels
  • Assist in designing the system of DM KPIs for your company

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Design a system of KPIs to measure data management performance at your company at various organizational levels
  • Establish a performance management capability

Introducing the “Data Management Star” Implementation Method
This section provides a high-level overview of the “Data Management Star” implementation method and its Step 4. This method forms the basis for the program “Establishing a Data Management Function.” In this section, we introduce Step 4 of this method, “Monitoring Performance.” We also discuss various types of Key Performance Indicators suitable for monitoring data management performance.
