This section provides a high-level overview of the “Data Management Star” implementation method and its Step 5. This method forms the basis for the program “Establishing a Data Management Function.” This section introduces Step 5 of this method, “Assessing results and planning the future.” We also introduce maturity concepts.

This section introduces a simplified method for measuring data management maturity. This method is based on the “Heat-map” methodology. It can be applied at each organizational level: strategic, tactical, and operational.

This section reviews the “Orange” maturity assessment methodology. As a part of this course, you can perform a quick data management maturity scan.
